Frequency of Meetings?

Quarterly but during 2009 the Board has been meeting more frequently to review/refresh its performance against the Sustainable Community Strategy for the district.

Meetings are always at 4.30pm and this year have been held at the district council office at Coleford.

On 3rd June the Board took part in a self assessment workshop which was facilitated by the I&DeA (the Improvement & Development Agency - www.idea.gov.uk).  The notes of the event can be viewed here.  Click on workshop report to see the notes from the I&DeA and the summary diagram here.

This then fed into our Final Forest of Dean Self Evaluation Document which was then submitted to the Gloucestershire Strategic Partnership.

The Advisory Group, with support from the I&DeA, are now developing an improvement plan based on the above recommendations and these actions will be reviewed at the December Board meeting.
